Firstly, thank you all for bearing with us through these crazy, turbulent times! We really appreciate your support and cooperation in making Rock Oyster Festival a safe place for us all to enjoy.

Following the Government’s latest guidance for events, we have had to implement some systems and policies regarding entry conditions and the NHS COVID Pass. As per Government guidance, and consultation with Public Health, all ticket holders aged 11 and over will be required to demonstrate their COVID-19 status before entering the festival by providing one of the below:

  1. Proof of Negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken on the day of arrival at the festival. Please take the test prior to travelling and report the result with the NHS here.

OR

  1. Proof of Double Vaccination: Both doses received, with the second at least 14 days prior to arriving at the festival.

We highly recommend that you take an NHS Lateral Flow Test prior to travelling to the festival regardless of your vaccination status.

OR

  1. Proof of Natural Immunity based upon positive PCR result within 180 days of the festival (but following the 10 -day self-isolation period).

We highly recommend that you take an NHS Lateral Flow Test prior to travelling to the festival regardless of your immunity status.

TO GAIN ENTRY YOU MUST SHOW EITHER A VALID NHS COVID PASS OR PROOF OF COVID STATUS OR TEXT/EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF NEGATIVE NHS LATERAL FLOW TEST

The NHS COVID Pass will be available through the NHS App (not to be confused with the NHS Track & Trace App), the NHS website, or as a letter that can be requested by ringing NHS 119. Visitors will also be able to show text or email confirmation of test results. For more information on how to do this, please click here.

If you are using the NHS COVID Pass, we recommend that you print, screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival, so that you have it ready to show at the entrance gates.

Please note that you must be registered with a GP to use the app.  Registering your identity with the app can take up to 24 hours in some cases and validating your COVID-19 Status up to 2 hours, so please do this in good time before you leave for the event.

If you don’t have access to a smartphone or computer, then you can call 119 to request a letter to demonstrate your vaccination status or online here. Please note that the letter can take up to 5 working days to reach you. This letter will be sent to the address registered with your GP.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

This NHS video is very useful to show you how to download and use the NHS COVID Pass.

Those aged 11 – 17 will need to present Proof of Negative NHS Lateral Flow Test (taken on the day of arrival at the festival, please take the test prior to traveling) to gain access to the festival.

Those aged under 11 are exempt and do not need to provide proof of their COVID-19 status to gain access to the festival.

Re-entry

Re-entry is not permitted for Day Ticket holders but is allowed for Weekend Camping and 3-Day non camping tickets.

You will need to show proof of COVID-19 Status when you re-enter the festival from the car park or off-site.  If you are using NHS lateral flow tests, you will need to bring extra as your proof of negative test or NHS COVID Pass will expire 48 hours after a negative result.

NHS Lateral Flow Tests

Please note if you plan to obtain your NHS COVID Pass using an NHS Lateral Flow Test you must conduct this test at home and register the result before arriving at the festival. We will not be conducting testing at the gates and you will not be able to access the event without this pass. If you are planning to re-enter and you are proving your COVID-19 Status using lateral flow tests, you will need to bring extra tests to the site for when your result expires.

Please Note:

If you get a positive NHS Lateral Flow Test result you will NOT be able to enter the event and must self-isolate in line with NHS advice.  See festival website for refund policy in this instance.
