Where is the Festival?
Rock Oyster is located at the beautiful Dinham House Estate, St Minver, Wadebridge, Cornwall, PL27 6RH. Please follow the supplied directions sent in the week before the Festival.
TICKETS
When can I buy tickets for Rock Oyster 2025?
Tickets are currently on sale from our ticket page and available from our ticket agent See Tickets. Please do not buy tickets from people you don’t know online! Ticket scams are increasing year on year, please do not fall victim to online fraud. Rock Oyster Festival accepts no responsibility for problems arising from third-party transactions.
What does a Coral Club VIP ticket include?
You can now purchase an upgrade to The Coral Club, our exclusive VIP Lounge. You’ll get access to flushing toilets, restroom facilities, a Champagne Bar, and a great view of the Oyster Stage.
How much are tickets?

What are the different ticket tiers?
Tickets are priced in tiers. Once a tier runs out it goes up to the next tier and price increases with each tier increase. So, the sooner you buy, the cheaper it’ll be!
What’s an early bird ticket?
Early bird tickets do not mean early entry, they are the first tier of tickets to buy early.
Do children and babies need a ticket?
Yes, everyone will need a ticket. Under 5s are free but still need to book a ticket. Head to our ticket page for more info.
Can I get a ticket for my carer?
Yes PA tickets will be available from January when applications for accessibility support open.
I forgot to purchase a car parking ticket, how do I add that to my order?
You can either purchase on the day when you arrive, or look out for an email closer to the event where you can prebook your car parking ticket.

I can’t make it anymore, can I get a refund?
As outlined in our terms and conditions at the point of purchase, tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. As standard our tickets don’t come with refund protection, but if you have paid for this add-on (via See Tickets) you may be eligible to receive a refund depending on your circumstances. Can I sell my ticket?
Yes, if you have already purchased a ticket and are no longer able to attend, we recommend reselling your ticket using our official resale platform Tixel. Please do not buy or sell using unofficial ticket resale platforms, Rock Oyster accepts no responsibility for problems arising from third-party transactions. Tickets for the Festival are only available from accredited ticket outlets.
Does my ticket include admission to the Festival?
Yes, if you have purchased a weekend camping pass, you have admission to the Festival site. If you have only booked accommodation (bell tent or live in vehicle pitch) you will also need to purchase a separate weekend camping ticket.
Can I buy a Live In Vehicle permit for RO25?
Yep, grab one from our ticket shop!
When will I get my tickets?
When you buy your tickets you will initially receive an order confirmation. That means you have secured your tickets and you don’t need to do anything else. Your e-tickets will be emailed to you by SEE Tickets one week before the event.
Do I have to book in advance for anything else?
You can purchase extras from our website including:

- Reserved camping pitches
- Pre-pitched tents
- Bell tents and yurts
- Long table banquets
- Masterclasses
- Outdoor adventures – SUP, surfing, kayaking
- Massages
Can I swap my adult/teen tickets?
Sorry, this is not possible.
Can I come by myself if I’m under 18?
Anyone under the age of 18 needs to come with a parent or guardian. And each adult ticket allows up to 4 minors to attend with them, at their responsibility.
GETTING HERE
Where do I go when I arrive to the Festival?
Weekend campers – please follow directions to the BLUE GATE.
Day / 3 Day (non camping) Ticket Holders – please head to the RED GATE. You cannot leave vehicles on site at Red Gate overnight, all cars will need to have vacated the car park by 3am.
Do I need a parking ticket for my car?
Yes, you’ll need to purchase a parking ticket which you can either purchase in advance (for less!) or on the day when you arrive.
Can I get a shuttle bus?
Check back for more info.
Where’s the nearest train station?
Bodmin Parkway is the nearest train station, about a 30 minute drive from the Festival site.
Can I fly to Cornwall?
Yes! The nearest airport is Newquay Airport which is about a 30 minute drive from the Festival site. Direct flights available from London (1 hr 20), Manchester (1 hr 20), Dublin (1 hr 10), Newcastle (1 hr 15), Edinburgh (1 hr 30).
FESTIVAL SITE
When does the festival open and close?
Campsites open on Thursday 25th at 12:00 until 11:00 Monday. The main arena opens on Friday at 10:00. Campers will need to leave the site no later than 11:00 Monday 27th..
Day ticket holders can access the Festival arena Friday & Saturday 10:00 – 02:00 and Sunday 10:00 – 00:30. No access to campsites.
Can I leave and re-enter the Festival?
Weekend Camping and 3 Day Non-Camping ticket holders will be able to re-enter the Festival. We do not offer re-entry for Day Ticket holders.
Lost Property
Please note that lost property will be stored in the info point which is open 8am to 8pm during the Festival. We will hold all lost property for up to 5 days after the Festival. If you have lost something please email us at info@rockoysterfestival.co.uk
Can we have dogs on site?
Unfortunately no. We love our four legged companions but we’re concerned about their wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of people on site.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
DAY TICKET HOLDERS/3-DAY TICKET HOLDERS – Guests are not permitted to bring any alcohol with them and food is for personal consumption only.
WEEKEND CAMPERS – Aged 18 and over can bring in limited amounts and types of alcohol. Quantity per person: 1 crate of beer/lager/cider OR 1 litre of wine OR 12 cans of pre-mixed spirit and mixer (no straight spirits). Alcohol will only be permitted on first entry to the festival campsite. You will not be able to exit & re-enter with more alcohol. All drinks must be unopened and NO GLASS. Alcohol cannot be brought into the Festival arena (campsite only). It will however be on sale inside the arena.
Can I bring my own food?
Food is only allowed to be brought into the campsites, not the festival arena. If you purchased a ticket that does not include campaign, please do not bring food with you.
Can I buy alcohol at the Festival?
Alcohol is on sale at the Festival but you must be 18 or over to purchase. Bring ID, you will be asked each time you buy a drink. It is illegal to buy alcohol for another person who is under 18. Challenge 25 is in place at all bars. Accepted forms of ID are passport, driver’s license or anything with a PASS logo.
Will the festival take cash or card?
Please note that our bars this year are cashless. You will not be able to use cash to purchase drinks at our bars. However, many food traders and stalls will be accepting cash
Is there anything I shouldn’t bring?
Please do not bring; gazebos, flares, fireworks, Chinese lanterns, campfires, barbecues, grills, personal sound systems, glass, drones, weapons, flags in the arena, animals (except assistance dogs), illegal drugs, legal highs, nitrous oxide, no stalls or market sales without permission of the organisers. Alcohol is restricted, There will be searches at the gate against all items listed.
LEAVE NO TRACE
At Rock Oyster we are committed to putting in as much as we take back. Please help us to limit our environmental impact by also thinking about the natural landscape around you while you are having fun. Please use the bins provided. Please drink responsibly. Please take your tents home with you. And please use the toilets we put in for you. Rock Oyster is so lucky to be inhabiting the beautiful Dinham House Estate for the weekend, right on the Camel Estuary, with all the treasures that it brings. Please treasure it with us.
CAMPING
What facilities (showers/toilets) are available for camping?
Toilets and showers are available in the campsite.
Can I camp anywhere?
There will be dedicated zones for General Camping, Quieter Camping, Family Camping, Boutique Camping and an accessible campsite (please apply for accessible camping here).
Can we have fires in the campsites?
No please don’t, so we can be sure of your safety.
Can I bring my campervan, motorhome or caravan?
Campervans, motorhomes and caravans are permitted, but you will need to purchase a separate live-in-vehicle ticket as well as weekend camping ticket. 1 live-in vehicle allowed per pitch. Live in vehicle pitches are 6x7m and you must fit within this space. If you need more space please book 2 x pitches. Awnings are allowed as long as they fit within your pitch but tents are not permitted in this area. If you’re bringing a caravan with towing vehicle and need more space, please book 2 x pitches. Caravans/towing vehicles and campervans will be in separate sections of the live-in area.
Are there electrical hook up points at the festival for mobile home vehicles?
No, unfortunately there are no hook up points at the festival site.
Can campervans and tents camp together?
We cannot allow any tents in the campervan field.
Can I bring a camping stove?
All cooking equipment must not be used within tents, nor under any awnings, at any time. We advise using it at least 1m away from tents. No open fires.
Is there a restriction on tent sizes?
YES! The site has a limited capacity, and so we have a strict policy of normal sized family tents only. Please do not bring a 8 x 10 berth mega-tents or gazebos as we do not have space!
Can I bring my own fridge?
Gas powered fridges are only acceptable if you are in a live-in vehicle. You cannot bring gas powered fridges into the camping field. If you need to store medicines in the fridge, we can arrange this for you – please visit our Accessibility page.
I have a day ticket. Will I be able to camp or access the campsites?
No, day tickets do not provide access to any campsites. If you want to camp, you’ll need to purchase a Weekend Camping Ticket.
I have a 3-day non camping ticket. Will I be able to camp or access the campsites?
No, 3-day non camping tickets do not provide access to any campsites. If you have accidentally purchased a 3-day non camping ticket and want to camp with us, please see the box office at arrival or contact See Tickets by clicking here.

Is there a Family camping area?
Yes there is a dedicated family campsite.
Will there be a shop at the festival?
Yes there is a Festival shop located near the entrance to the main arena for all those vital bits and pieces you forgot.
What is there for kids to do?
We have SO many amazing programmed activities for families and kids! Check out our family page. We are also located in one of the best areas for families in the country, check out our Cornwall page for excursion ideas and beach day trips.
Do you provide children with wristbands?
Yes, we will be giving children wristbands that you can write your mobile number on. This way, if you become separated from your little one for any reason one of our festival team will be able to call you and reunite you as soon as possible.
