Sam Richardson and The Renegades are a soaring 4 piece roots-rock band hailing from the rugged north coast of Cornwall. Sam’s songs are reminiscent of the days when imagery and stories played a key role in the songwriting process and the band’s evocative, euphoric live performances have left their mark on audiences across the UK.
Glastonbury Festival founder and industry legend, Michael Eavis, selected the band to support Mercury Prize winning band Wolf Alice, and culture shaping brit-pop band Supergrass at The Pilton Party 2019 festival on Worthy Farm. After waiting out the 2020 Covid 19 pandemic, the band were entrusted to open the 50,000 capacity main stage at Boardmasters Festival 2021 for Sam Fender and Foals.
Mixing the cinematic stylings of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Jackson Browne, Sam produces emotive and exciting songs that will make you want to turn up your radio, and drive away into a balmy summer night.
