Kate Attlee is the owner and Chef of Sabzi in Truro, Cornwall. With an Iranian father and British mother, Kate has been surrounded by international flavours throughout her life, and naturally brings this variety and originality to her cooking.
Following several years in London gaining valuable industry training at Michelin-starred level, Kate reached the quarter finals of TV’s MasterChef in 2017. The success of her sell-out Persian supper-club events and cookery classes across the UK culminated in Kate opening Sabzi in 2019.
Inspired by her Iranian heritage, Sabzi brings Kate’s unique Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours to central Truro. She is firmly committed to showcasing great seasonal produce in an environmentally conscious way. As a result, Sabzi’s menu changes daily and has developed a rapidly growing fan base, with Kate’s customers arriving early to avoid disappointment!
